Spicy avocado hummus recipe

An ultra creamy, healthy, and delicious tahini-free Spicy Cilantro Avocado Hummus that is vegan, gluten-free, and super quick and easy to make!


Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked (fresh or canned) chickpeas
  • 1 ripe avocado
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 3 tbs lemon juice
  • 3 tbs olive oil
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1/4 - 1/2 tsp (dependent upon how spicy you like things) red chili flakes
  • 1/4 tsp cumin seeds
  • to taste, sea salt

Instructions

  • In a food processor or high speed blender combine all of the above ingredients.
  • Blend until smooth or desired consistency.
  • Salt to taste.
  • Serve, and enjoy!
